After last weeks “Ask an Anti-Zionist,” the Dorx return to Ask a Zionist, Rabbi Jonathan Greenberg. What is a Zionist? Answer: “A person who believes that the Jews have a right to self-determination and self-protection in the ancient land of Israel,” which he says is the historical, original, biblical, literal Jewish homeland. Greenberg does not suffer discomfort with power and moral complexity. He reminds us every conceivable solution to “one of the most intractable conflicts on earth” has already been argued, and there is nothing new under the sun. “In every generation, they rise against us to destroy us.” Greenberg says Jews should arm up; culture matters; the rules of war are outdated; nobody actually cares about the Palestinians; media coverage is biased; history tells you what, philosophy tells you why; and Israel is not a colonial project, it’s a coming home. It’s so baffling how two people, especially corinna (who’s more dedicated to facts and less to his own personal narcissistic narrative like nina is), can see so clearly the blatant trans-related atrocities being committed, as well as the many corrupt and false premises used to support the narratives regarding trans ideology, and then be so utterly blind to those same phenomena underpinning other narratives, such as rampant malignant corruption, institutional capture, perversely incentivized medicalization protocols, just to name a few.
May you both learn to apply a fraction of the scrutiny to other force fed narratives that you apply to genderqueer chicanery.
Not that it matters, but i’m completely put off by what i heard in recent episodes. I’ve yet to listen to the rabbi, I’m not sure I can take it after hearing all the ignorant opining in the previous 2 podcasts.
It sounds like identifying as a certain ethnicity is granting you the same supremacist victim status derangement that trans ideologues grant themselves, which invariably results in total hypocrisy, and a reality based on ‘feelingsfantasies’ instead of actual evidence.
P.s. why not have an anti zionist on that actually knows what he’s talking about and isnt censoring himself ?
