“Female” is a word. The meanings of words often change over time. Therefore, the meaning of the word “female” can change. However, the best solution to sports and other activities which currently typically include segregated categories of participation, would be the elimination of those categories. Governments should cease to recognize differences based on sex; all competitions, spaces, activities, and positions should be open to all.
